At 1.00 p.m. on May 31, 2007, during the Plastpol Fair in Kielce at ul. Zakładowa 1, the 9th Ordinary General Meeting of the Polish Plastics Converters Association took place.

The Meeting did not have the required quorum; therefore, the session started at a later date and was opened by Mr. Grzegorz Kalisiak, Member of the Management Board of the Polish Plastics Converters Association. Ms. Małgorzata Kot was chosen the chairman of the Meeting, whereas Ms. Marzena Dreja was the recorder.

During the 9th Ordinary General Meeting, a balance sheet and a profit and loss account for the year 2006 were presented, as well as the budget and plan of action for the year 2007. All the documents were approved by the members of the General Meeting. The Revision Committee applied for acknowledgment of the fulfillment of duties for the Management Board of the Polish Plastics Converters Association and such acknowledgement was granted to the Management Board. The acknowledgment of the fulfillment of duties was also granted to the members of the Revision Committee and the Peer Court.

Other items on the agenda were elections for the governing bodies of the Association by means of secret ballot. Seven candidatures were proposed for the Management Board of the Polish Plastics Converters Association: Mr. Tadeusz Dembowski, Mr. Wojciech Filek, Mr. Grzegorz Kalisiak, Mr. Tadeusz Nowicki, Mr. Krzysztof Pieńkowski, Mr. Piotr Pęczak and Mr. Jan Polaczek. All the candidatures received support of the majority of votes at the General Meeting.

Two candidatures were proposed for the Peer Court: Ms. Maria Obłój-Muzaj and Mr. Krzysztof Kaczorowski. Both persons received support of the majority of votes. Three candidatures were proposed for the Revision Committee: Mr. Stanisław Chmielewski, Ms. Małgorzata Kot and Ms. Anna Sławianowska; the above-mentioned candidates received support of the majority of votes.

During the 9th Ordinary General Meeting of the Polish Plastics Converters Association, a resolution was passed by majority of votes regarding establishment of contacts and conduct of talks with the authorities of the Polish Confederation of Private Employers Lewiatan with the purpose of potential transformation of the Association.
